This retreat is positioned between North Wilkesboro and Boone NC on the edge of the Appalachian Mountains.

Hike to the top of a waterfall, relax fishing the day away or cosy up and enjoy the views…it’s up to you!

While being private, this cottage is located in a gated mountain community providing many extra amenities!

While Misty Mountain Retreat allows for your private vacation, it also is located in the community of Buck Mountain gated community. This offers our guests not only the security they are looking for but also amenities not found in other places.
